MA in Screenwriting - More opportunities to write for television and film

Please be advised that from September 2009 the MA in Screenwriting programme at IADT will be offered on a full-time and on a part-time basis. Previously the programme was only taught full-time in a single academic year.

The decision to offer the programme to part-time students over a two year duration will give more writers the opportunity to learn the craft of writing for film and television.

Brendan McCarthy's screenplay - ‘The Wake Wood’ directed by David Keating (The Last of the High Kings) starring Aiden Gillan (The Wire) and Eva Birthisle (Middletown) was written on the course and is now in post-production.

The entry requirements remain as outlined in the Postgraduate Prospectus 2009.

Closing date for applications is 4pm on Friday 8 May 2009.
