March 3rd – 27th
European Union House
Dawson Street,, Dublin.

The Embassies of France and the Czech Republic join forces to present an exhibition of photographic images at the European Union House in Dawson Street in Dublin. The exhibition takes place between the 3rd and 27th of March.

The works on show represent the outcome of a cultural exchange project between photographic students in Ireland, France and the Czech Republic. Photography students from three schools, IADT, Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology, FAMU the Academy of the Performing Arts in Prague, and ENSP, the French National Photography School in Arles travelled to each other’s capital cities to create images that will present their vision of contemporary European culture.

Irish students Kate Lynch and Mark O’Shea and French student Sophie Bridelance show images made in Prague. Czech student Ondrej Bouska and French student Boris Rogez present their visions of Dublin, while Czech student Jachym Kliment and Irish students Paul McKenna and Kieron Boyle show their impressions of Paris.

The exhibition, which comprises over 45 black and white and colour images, is open to the public from 09.00 to 17.00, Monday to Friday from the 3rd to 27th March.
