John Boorman is one of Europe’s most distinguished film directors. He has been nominated for five Academy Awards® and has twice won the Best Director prize at Cannes. His films include Point Blank; Hell in the Pacific; Deliverance; Exorcist II: The Heretic; Excalibur; The Emerald Forest; Hope and Glory; The General; The Tailor of Panama and Country of My Skull .
The National Film School Lecture Series is held in association with Bord Scannán na hÉireann/the Irish Film Board.
